Most harnesses clip on the back, which actually gives your dog more pulling power. They can lean their full body weight into it and drag you forward.
The front D-ring attachment (included free with your harness) clips at the chest instead. When your dog pulls, the leash redirects them back toward you rather than letting them power straight ahead. It's a simple physics principle — the pulling force turns them sideways instead of propelling them forward.
This gives you more control without any choking, yanking, or discomfort. You can also use the back clip for calmer walks or once pulling is no longer an issue.
